FAQ | Facility, Goals and Needs
What is the history of the BASES building?
BASES owns a 5000 square foot facility that was formerly a dairy and also a satellite location for a local manufacturing company. BASES also owns an 8000 square foot lot across the street that may be used for expansion.
What kind of funding does BASES rely on?
BASES relies on contributions from individuals, groups and organizations to be able to offer many of our services at no or reduced costs to those in need. We invite you to join our “Community Partners Project” by making an annual contribution and being included in our information sharing list via email to help educate and inform the general public of emerging trends in the area of substance abuse.
What are the Goals of BASES?
BASES goals involve meeting the community needs related to substance abuse prevention, early intervention and treatment.
What are the future funding goals?
We have established two organizational funds at the Charlevoix County Community Foundation – one is non-endowed and the other is an endowed fund. The non-endowed fund serves as our program’s rainy day fund for emergencies or large capital expenditures. The endowed fund is established by those long-term visionaries dedicated to maintaining substance abuse prevention, early intervention and treatment services in northwest lower Michigan. Please contact us to learn more about how you may be able to assist us in meeting our fundraising needs.
