The Michigan Saves IDA Program is a matched savings program for people who want to build financial assets. We will work with the customer to provide the extra dollars and tools to help someone build a bright future.  Every $1 you save (up to $1000) will be matched with $2 or $3 toward one of these eligible uses:
  • First-time Homebuyer down payment assistance
  • Tuition for an accredited school
  • Small business start-up or expansion

Transitional Housing

Located in Charlevoix, Michigan, Joppa House is a Christ-centered home that incorporates a curriculum-based program for women who are homeless, or facing homelessness, due to a lack of support, resources, and/or life skills.  Call (231) 547-8040 for more information.

Nathan’s House is dedicated to providing recovering males with access to an affordable, supportive, safe and sober living environment while they begin their journey into recovery.  Call (231) 881-5849 for more information.

An overnight shelter for men  that is offered November – March from 8:30 p.m. – 8:00 a.m. We try to meet physical and relational needs of men and provide a place where they can get out of the cold during the worse weather months in Northern Michigan. Call (231) 547-9482 for more information.
